Hi and welcome to the Lesson 16 in DMAD - Marine Mammals Research Association's second free QGIS course. This course if for beginners to intermediates. In this area we will take out single multipart polygon we created in the first lesson and split it into multiple smaller polygons. We'll then look at how we can calculate the area of each of these polygons.
