WELCOME ABOARD!

VOLUNTEERS AND INTERNS WELCOME TO THE MONTENEGRO DOLPHIN RESEARCH PROJECT
JOIN OUR TEAM OF RESEARCHERS AND SCIENTISTS ALONG THE ADRIATIC COSTS OF MONTENEGRO

The Montenegro Dolphin Research aims to address questions about marine mammal abundance, distribution and behavior that defines their critical habitats and investigate the impact of such major threats. Our wider attention focuses on the promotion and implementation of the awareness initiatives targeted by local community. Montenegrin coastal waters are extremely rich in marine life, but yet barely explored. There are at least five species of marine mammals that can be found in South Adriatic. The most common species are the bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) and striped dolphins (Stenella coeruleoalba).
